Me'nate Steak Hub denies links to PM's wagyu beef dinner
Swipenter:
I am complaining that my breakfast consisting of a bowl of curry laksa and my glass of teh si kosong cost me respectively RM6 and RM2.
RM8 in total and it bites my pocket. RM20,000 for a 2kg wagyu beef dinner is obscene.
Anonymous_1404717623: Me'Nate Steak Hub, I salute you for your courage and integrity.
If any blogger spread false news about your company, please do not hesitate to pursue the matter through legal action.
Unlike PM Najib Razak, who dares not take any legal action but instead give all sorts of excuses.
Turvy: In a country that has banished truth and changed the meaning of words so that false is truth and truth false, this restaurant’s receipt tells the truth, particularly if it is false.
You cannot build a nation on lies and then expect its people to search for truth. Only lies countering lies will bring forth the truth.
Vijay47: The Me’nate management (I have never even heard of the place) says that it does not make any sense for rice and side dishes to be served at a dinner of steak and Matsusaka (I have never even heard of the dish).
Elementary, my dear Watson - whatever they eat, the nouveau pseudo elegant can never give up nasi lemak and sambal.
By the way, Malaysiakini , congratulations on the photo accompanying this news - for a report relating to steak, you chose a photo of a cow. Make that two.
Odin Tajué: I agree with what Vijay47 has said about the inability of the pseudo nouveaux élites to dispense with what they are so much accustomed to eating.
Besides, a kilo of beef for gluttons is nothing; their capacious bellies can take much more than that.
Anonymous$&@?: This shows that Najib and his family are totally out of touch with the common people. Najib, why no kangkung?
BernieBaby: Halal or haram? Wagyu beef cows are feed alcohol which gives their meat a distinctive taste. You can pray and kill the animal anyway you wish, but it's still alcohol.
Buttman: The fact that so many are inclined to believe Rosmah Mansor and Najib perfectly capable of such obscene extravagance is damning enough - regardless of the truth of the allegation.
Hplooi: But the underlying theme people should read is that the 'first couple' is now so toxic that any association is immediately denied when in the normal case such association would have been an honour.
Did Najib lodge report on RM42m found in bank account?
Hang Babeuf: Bad schoolboy excuse for the absence of something that should be there: "The dog ate my homework!"
Bad excuse from a cornered PM for the presence of something that has no right to be there? Presumably, he must say that "a stray dog must have found and swallowed it, and then vomited the money up, behind my back, into my bank account". Very plausible.
Tengku: First of all, did Najib himself admit that the RM42 million was deposited in his personal account? Give us some hard proof, then we can talk about it.
Justine Gow: In answer to the comment above that there is no hard proof that RM42 million was deposited into someone's account because that someone has not admitted that the money had been deposited into his account - more likely, he is afraid to even deny, lest proof will surface later on.
By not denying, he can later on come up with some other excuses, such as the money is a donation.
Not Convinced: Another excuse will be that he was not aware of the money in his bank account, which is what he now claims.
Assuming that Najib is so flush with cash, the RM42 million, while an astronomical sum for many of us, may seem like pocket change to him, and thus he may have overlooked the money.
But if such is the case, then who deposited the money? Or is this another case of a crime without criminals?
Saya Pun Nak Cari Makan: When a government officer earning RM5,000 per month is found driving a RM300,000 BMW, he is investigated from head to toe for corruption.
But when a leader earning RM50,000 per month has RM2,600,000,000 in his bank account, it takes ages to investigate.
Bear in mind, the BMW is only 60 times the officer's pay, while the latter has an amount 52,000 times his pay.
Worst still, the investigation ends up with not enough evidence and no case. And, amusingly, the AG fears God more than man .
